The St. Louis #2 Index

December 9, 2009

This summer I had the opportunity to work on the St. Louis Cemetery No. 2 Index, a project headed up by Dalton Woolverton and Barbara Trevigne.  Save Our Cemeteries had worked with Xavier University to get students into the cemetery and record names, dates and locations of tombs.  Mr. Woolverton created an indexing system that would allow us to quickly and efficiently identify the location of each burial.  Before I left the volumes for each square–I, II and III–were printed.

The end result of the St. Louis Cemetery No. 2 Inventory Project: three volumes of names, dates and locations
